Things to Do in Cocoa Beach
Rocket launches, surfing, wildlife, and seafood, all within a short drive of the property.
Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral pack a lot into a short stretch of coast. You can watch a rocket lift off from the deck in the morning, take a surf lesson in the afternoon, and still have time for the zoo or the space center. Everything below is close enough to do on a whim.

Rocket Launches
Watch a Launch From the Property
Several of the launch pads at Kennedy Space Center are visible from the second-floor decks, so when a launch is scheduled you do not have to go anywhere. Guests plan trips around launch windows, check the schedule the night before, and step outside with a coffee to watch. Launches do slip and scrub, so treat one as the bonus rather than the reason for the trip. When the timing works, it is the thing everyone talks about for the rest of the stay.

Local Dining
The Food of Brevard County
Florida's Space Coast has a real dining scene, from oceanfront tables to locally owned fish houses in the historic districts. Seafood is the obvious place to start, and it is worth working through more than one plate of it. Ask anyone who lives here where to eat and you will get a different answer every time, which is still the best way to find your own.
